That's a lot of the use of the word "directory." Yeesh. When it's not, I just see the CD ROM drive. On most PC's the drive will report itself according to the last type of media it read/wrote to... No, this time it actually fixed itself when I restarted my PC. Where would I get firmware for my DVD Drive (for free and without any torrents involved)? It shows up under "My computer" as DVD-RW drive (D).
