So 250 gig drive will be A drive 30 gig Fat32 Drive B would be 220 NTFS for everything else. Plz help. don't want to revert back as i have lot of command line utilities installed after i installed the sierra and have not backed that up in time machine .... Sata or IDE ? My apologies if this message is not displayed at the right spot! Though, the easiest way to do so is: different cable, different external drive connected to your USB ports and your HDD connected to another system. But I have seen the suggested one for sale and LaCie is one of them .
I haven't purchased the usb adapter for the GT. Something simple as just changing the USB cable will not hurt. I tried to look for a powered USB 3.0 hub but the ones I saw clearly state that Windows 8.1 is not supported. USB 3.0 ports not working in my AMD A10 laptop. You did your research, read the reviews and finally chose one. Why does Microsoft let this thing happening despite many complaints on similar issues?
