we just got some new computers that had a muticard reader in them. You can click on Open Folder to View Files to open the drive letter, or on the drive letter in (My) Computer or Windows/File Explorer. This was precisely what the problem was in may case. Is there any way i can repair it without formatting it? find this

This is the best policy in my opinion. I have a pavillion hp with no recovery disc and Hp will not give me one. I cannot be sure though - it might be a faulty product. It kept the letter I had assigned to it.
