Maybe some or all of these system type files need to be tweaked into the register file in some way or another. Of course, that did not happen. Also, everytime I open excel, it gives an error message about one of the libraries stdole32.tlb is missing or damaged and reinstalls it. Are there any problem with OS or with the runtime? You can change this preference below. I turned on the windows update plus I did a manual update prompting me that there is/are no current updates. Now when I get updates to install for Office 2003, the installs fail because of an unknown error code 646. However, I can't get the updates to install.
