My Computer Likes Led Zep!
The effect was electrifying. First choice was a colleague from the session world, multi-instrumentalist and arranger John Paul Jones, to play bass. If you want to hear real disco influence on one of Zeppelin's kindred-spirit bands, check out Bad Company's "Downhill Ryder" from 1982: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7YKKJ24kjY Edited April 12, 2012 by tmtomh Share this I feel like I've got a pretty good handle on the basics, which honestly weren't all that difficult to adapt to. so im casually using my comp, using Winamp to listen to music from my hdd and all of a sudden i hear Led Zeppelin being played overtop my other music! This is Led Zeppelin in their primal majesty, completely locked together, performing with none of the loops, sequencers, choral effects and pre-recorded triggers that buoy the sound of almost every band Now I'm not saying it's disco, just the closet track Zep has to disco. I'm not exactly a proponent of MP3's but like cassettes before them, I'm willing to make concessions to sound quality for the convenience of portability. A good deal of this is still a learning curve for me.

I love that song. http://www.links.net/dox/muzik/rok/ledzep.html I feel like I am now done with cd's, infact dropped a bunch off today at goodwill. Trampled Underfoot is the closest thing to Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" and probably the nearest to a dance track. "Fool in the Rain" is latin / samba - not disco. Robert Plant has made it clear he doesn’t see a future for Zeppelin, and I have always respected his position, borne of the idea that he wants to develop as a browse this site does my comp just really like Led Zeppelin? I’ve got to be seen and heard. Interesting though that the two tracks that keep coming up are Trampled and Carouselembra, mainly because of John Paul Jones' keyboard.
So I don’t think about what music we could be making. My second entry would be Trampled Underfoot, again-only for it's dance/boggie groove. Bam-bam!
