Boot The Clonezilla Live CD Many computers will automatically boot from a bootable CD like the Clonezilla Live Disc. That is a tremendously long time. I would stay away from USB , it is tricky to get windows to boot from USb , real tricky. That way, your image serves as your backup, and you have a cloned drive to install. check here
