I only have 1 update on all WIN OS now-regardless of version ( no service packs installed on older OSs) installed since AUG 2015. Click the "Get Windows 10" icon in your system tray and go through the process. The little indicator circle went round and round, but neither would open. Click Apply and OK to save the changes.

This is just like with Windows 7 -- 16-bit applications wouldn't run on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, either. It worked!
