This should prevent very slow starts on affected PCs. This Model Asus K55VM have tis problem, have thousands of complains over internet about this model. I checked the battery and turns out I bought a 10v battery, but the old was a 14.4v, so I exchanged the battery for the correct one and it did exactly From the Start Menu, type 'winver' and hit Enter. http://newsmdcommunications.com/windows-10/windows-10-slow-boot-up.html
Hopefully I can avoid this problem again until I'm really ready to upgrade my laptop! I tried reinstalling windows from asus recovery (F9), which didn't work. We were having speed and other issues with it so had taken it to a computer repair shop but they said they couldn't get it working properly and figured the motherboard I'm not sure if it's true (it sounds true), but I'm going to only plug in when I'm under 10% from now on.

- I've been able to reproduce the problem several times since this initially happened, and its the same thing every time, it shuts down without any type of warning as soon as

- When i turn on the laptop (with only plugged with AC adapter), nothings happen even there's no indicator lights on.
- From the Get Windows 10 (or GWX) app reporting that perfectly viable computers aren't compatible, through to the app never appearing in the first place, and to stalled and failed downloads.

- I again did another restart and rechecked the HD (CHKDSK) and found no errors this time.
- It found some errors and it recommended to run CHKDSK again with /F to fix the errors (CHKDSK /F).
