If your tv gives you an image then my guess is you can comfortably say the monitor isn't playing nicely with your new rig. For some reason my computer wont recognize my monitor or video card or both. Very unlikely the problem is with the monitor.Do you get any beeps when starting it up?With the power cord disconnected, make sure the cpu and ram are compatible with the motherboard. I got the Win10 64 driver from the AMD site. All I can see is two different backdrops on each screen, with the mouse extending to either screen, but no icons on either of them.
The HP has never beeped or anything when loading even when it was outta the box. Than I installed the latest Intel drivers, didn't work also. first boot, surface display and the 2nd screen connected through a display port to VGA adapter works fine. i remember i had to do something in control panal>device manager and i think it was a problem with the driver.
I lost them trying to find a resolution in which everything on the screens was a bit smaller.
